| Abstract: | The depletion interaction between a big sphere and a hard wall and between two big hard spheres in a hard sphere colloidal sytem was studied by the Monte Carlo method. Direct simulation of free energy difference was performed by means of the Acceptance Ratio Method (ARM). |
