| Abstract: | The new design of a checker is described,which is used for inspecting the rod diameter and plate thickness on a rod-processing line.In the design,a differential transformer is used as the detecting element,the nonlinear signal is treated with an EPROM based digital unit. The measured results are directly displayed in decimals on a LED panel and the feedback control signals are provided so that on-line quality control can be reached. |
