富硒玉米与亚硒酸钠对大鼠组织硒水平和GPX活性的影响

摘    要:探讨采用富硒玉米进行补硒的可能性。方法 给喂低硒饲料 6周的大鼠补充富硒玉米或亚硒酸钠硒 6周 ,动态观察大鼠组织硒水平和谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶 ( Glutathioneperoxidase,GPX)活性的变化。结果 与亚硒酸钠相比 ,富硒玉米同样有增高肾脏、心肌和肝脏硒水平以及心肌 GPX活性的作用 ,而且作用程度相同 ,但对肝脏 GPX活性作用在补硒 6周时却低于亚硒酸钠 ;停止补硒 3周后 ,富硒玉米维持上述各组织的硒水平或 GPX活性的作用与亚硒酸钠相同。结论 富硒玉米增高与维持组织硒水平或 GPX活性的作用与亚硒酸钠基本相似

Effects of selenium-rich corn and selenite on selenium levels and GPX activities in rat tissues
Abstract:Objective To investigate the possibility of supplementing selenium (Se) as Se rich corn.Methods Changes of Se levels and glutathione peroxidase (GPX) activities in tissues of rats fed for 6 weeks low Se diet from a Keshan disease area were observed during 6 weeks supplementation of Se as Se rich corn(7.241 mg/kg Se)or sodium selenite and after withdrawing the supplements for 3 weeks.Results Se rich corn had the same effect as that of selenite in increasing Se levels in kidney,cardiac muscle and liver, as well as GPX activity in cardiac muscle of rats, but liver GPX activity of rats fed Se rich corn diet at 6 weeks was lower than that of rats fed selenite diet;After the supplements were discontinued, Se rich corn was also as effective as selenite in maintaining Se levels in kidney,cardiac muscle and liver ,as well as GPX activities in cardiac muscle and liver of rats.Conclusion Compared with sodium selenite, Se rich corn has similar effect in increasing and maintaining Se status of rat tissues.
