颈外动脉插管注射尿素治疗腮区血管瘤的临床观察

通过颈外动脉结扎、插管注射尿素的方法治疗腮区血管瘤3628例，经过随访证实：经一个疗程治愈者为68％，再加上局部注射，可全部治愈。颈外动脉结扎、插管注射尿素治疗腮区血管瘤的机制在于阻断了肿瘤的血供，尿素可使血管内皮细胞皱缩、变性、坏死，最终被纤维组织代替。颈外动脉插管注射尿素法，方法简便、安全、疗效确切。

HEMANGIOMA IN PAROTID REGION: CLINICAL STUDY OF MANAGEMENT BY MEANS OF CATHETERIZATIONN TO EXTERNAL CAROTID ARTERY

3 628 patients with hemangioma in parotid region were treated by means of ligation and catheterization to external carotid artery and urea injection to the artery catheter. The follow-up result showed that the cure rate of one course of treatment was 68% and all patients could been cured aftersubsequent intralesional urea injection. The mechanism of action of arterial catheterization and urea on hemangioma was elucidated. The modality of therapy results in the interruption of blood supply of tumor and the action of urea brings about the shrinkage, degeneration and neerosis of the vascular endothelial cells. In the end, the vascular endothelium was substituted by fibrous tissue. Aterial catheterizatin and urea injection proved to be valuable because of its easy performence,security and satisfactory therapeutical effect.
