| Abstract: | A concept of geo-element is suggested for analysing the mechanical aniso- tropy of rock mass structure. Using self-designed triaxial compression facilities, the author has done much study on the mechanical properties of geo-element of intact structure, beded structure and clasfic structure. Practical examples are ana- lysed, showing the applicability of this method. |
