| Abstract: | In this paper,16 SRC short columns (subjected constant axial compressive load and reversed cyclic or monotonic horizontal load)were tested. Based on the superposed strength method the formulas for calculating the shear strength of SRC Short columns are proposed. Comparison of the results predicted by the propsoed formulas and obtained from the tests shows the computed strengths agree well with the test results. |
