| Abstract: | The paper discusses the addition of light clay loam to clay by utilizing the liquid limit directly to calculate the plastic limit,and the classifications of clay,and makes suggestions for amendments of "Design Specifications for Highway Bridge-Culvert Ground and Foundation" and Test Specifications in order to make them more perfect,exact and convenient for application. |
