The existing problems of reserved buildings in renovation and expansion projects of domestic expressways are analyzed.The renovation and expansion project of expressways around Shenyang adopts a new bridge type scheme which is safe and economically rational.The characteristics of the new bridge type and the forces on key parts of the bridge are elaborated.The construction process is introduced for the reference of setting up similar buildings in the future.
