| 摘 要： | 隐喻和转喻都是人类重要的认知模式,对身体词的各种活用又是隐喻和转喻的突出体现.本文从隐喻与转喻的概念比较入手,通过身体词“脸”(face)的汉英语料对比,对汉语“脸”和英语“face”所产生的隐喻性和转喻性词语进行分析,呈现了在隐喻和转喻上的词义延伸过程.

| Abstract: | Metaphor and metonymy are both important cognitive models of human mind.Through comparing the conception of metaphor and metonymy by using Lakoff and Johnson's Domains Mapping and Johnson's Image Schemata,this paper tries to explain meaning construction,working mechanism in the creation of metaphors by using Chinese and English corpus of "face". |
