Research on the Status and Improvement Strategy of Beijing Municipal Public Transport Superpass

This paper analyzes both the superiority and problems during the application of Beijing Municipal Public Transport Superpass, introduces the successful smartcard uses in Shanghai and Hongkong. According to the situation of Beijing and its traffic condition, the article put forward some improvement strategies in terms of fostering culture of smartcard use, improving management system, strengthening after-sales service, optimizing the setup of platforms and bus lines, finally achieving multiple use as well as interconnection among different cities.
