Coordination in Traffic Design of Urban Complexes, Taking the Hangzhou People's Center as an Example

Firstly, this paper introduces the main contents of traffic design for urban complexes, which consists of three parts: coordinating urban complex traffic with the entire urban traffic system, balancing the on-site traffic generated from urban complexes, and the on-site traffic design for the complex facilities. Then the paper proposes a three-step procedure for urban complex traffic design which is based on the unique characteristics and traffic demand of the complex. The paper also discusses key techniques that may apply to urban complex traffic design. Lastly, the paper also gives an example to illustrate in detail how to coordinate traffic design within the context of an urban complex.
