| 摘 要： | 21世纪前10年，我国城市交通及交通规划理论与技术方法发展迅速，并进行了大量的研究、探索和创新。从城市发展战略调整、国家综合交通运输网络转型与发展、城市交通运行状况与居民出行特征等方面回顾新世纪城市交通规划的发展背景，并介绍新世纪前10年交通规划在理论与技术方法上的转变及创新，包括：交通规划目标的转变、交通系统与城市空间及土地利用的整合、技术手段与模型理论，以及交通规划编制体系与方法等。最后，对城镇密集地区城市交通规划、公共交通规划、高铁枢纽规划、综合交通枢纽规划、城市中心区交通规划、街区交通规划，以及大型活动交通规划等典型规划示例进行了简评。
