| 摘 要： | 改革开放30年来，广州市交通问题日益突出，亟须探索符合可持续发展的城市交通规划理念。系统回顾了广州市城市交通规划与实践历程：从20世纪80年代交通理论与实践探索起步，到90年代对城市交通整体研究与系统建设，再到21世纪强调交通引导城市发展，城市交通规划的理念随着社会经济的发展与时俱进，也促进了交通建设、实践更加科学。实践表明，在交通方式转型的关键时期，及时做好交通应对措施对于引导城市交通可持续发展具有重要作用。最后，指出广州市城市交通发展的新趋势——更加注重大区域交通，重视轨道交通、交通管理，以及与生态环境相结合。
