| 摘 要： | 针对步行、自行车交通通行空间不断受到排挤、出行环境日益恶化、交通安全问题日益突出的现状，研究步行、自行车交通系统的改善途径。依据对北京市两广路、CBD、中关村等地区的调查，分析了北京市步行和自行车交通存在的主要问题及原因。结合居民出行距离累计曲线明确了未来步行、自行车交通的发展趋势。采用理论研究与实践分析相结合的方法，从保障步行和自行车交通在路段、交叉口及过街设施等方面的有效通行空间，以及为步行和自行车交通创造良好、舒适的出行环境两方面分别提出了系统的改善对策，并结合北京市的实践进行了实例分析。
