| Abstract: | Based on the reason analysis resulting in the maifunction of the clamping cam mechanism of a 450 ton cold forming machine, a new design method is proposed and related mathematical model established, which cam be effectively and to redesign the cam profile in a optimal way .The methology in this paper provides an effective means for old machine tool renovation. |
