Research on the Railway Network Scale of Shanxi Province

The scale of railway network is the main content of the rail network planning. Based on analysis of factors that in- fluencing the railway network scale and common prediction methods, using the connectivity method, international compari- son method, multiple regression method and transport load method, the reasonable scale of the railway network of Shanxi Province is given which could provide theory and reference for scientific planning of the railway network.
