摘    要:高含水率粘土是南方地区经常遇到的问题,对其进行合理利用可以节约土地,保护环境。研究表明,采用掺石灰的改良方法,能够快速降低粘土的含水率,使土体从块状变成散粒状,压实后具有低压缩性和较高的强度,可作为路基填筑材料。

Abstract:The clayey soil with high water content is commonly in south China.It's rational use is an important method to save land and to protect environment.The research results show that the water content could be decrease fast,the soil becomes from block state to loose particles,and the compacted soil has low compression and high strength after the soil is improved with lime mixing.The lime mixing clayey soil could be taken as paving material of the highway embankment.
