人与动物相比,在对待生存环境上的根本区别在于,动物被环境所选择,而人不但能够选择环境,而且能够能动地改造环境。动物只能在具备条件的地方才能生存,人的适应能力很强,且具有创造适应环境的手段和能力。然而人们正以破坏自然环境的方式来改造或扩大其居住范围。人工环境取代了自然环境。惯用的建筑设计标准在面临越来越高的生活质量要求和复杂的生态问题时,其片面性就显现出来了。现今,保持人类聚居环境的可持续发展,已成为一种不可逆转的潮流。住宅本身固然重要,但环境是实现良好居住质量的保证。

Building the atmosphere of "home"- design of spiritual environment of sub-area

When comparison is made between man and animal, the basic difference in dealing with living environment lies in that that animals are chosen by environment whereas human beings can not only select but can dynamically reform the environment. Animals can only survive where necessary conditions are met whilst humans are of a strong adaptability and have the measures and ability of creating an environment adaptable to living. However, human beings have been reforming and expanding their inhabitation areas at the expense of destroying the natural environment, which is as a result replaced with artificial environment. The customary building design code is facing challenges of increasingly higher requirements of living quality and complicated ecology, bringing to the fore the one - sidedness problem. As of now, keeping a sustainable development of habitation environment of mankind has become an irreversible trend. Housing itself is no doubt important, but environment is a guarantee for quality inhabitation.
