Abstract:When the frequency of in-phase hunting motion of two bogies in the same carriage of high speed EMU is close to the upper center roll pendulum natural frequency of the vehicle body,the low frequency periodic shaking of the vehicle body due to resonance will not only affect the ride comfort,but also cause derailment.According to the causes of low frequency periodic vehicle shaking,a diagnosis method based on the lateral acceleration of vehicle body was proposed in this paper.Firstly,the threshold value of the lateral acceleration of the vehicle body was set,and the possible problem sections were obtained by extension at the exceeding threshold value.Then,the frequency adaptive decomposition of the lateral acceleration signal of the vehicle body in these sections was carried out by using the ensemble empirical mode decomposition method to obtain multiple components.The principal component was determined by calculating the standard deviation,whether there is a peak value of the principal component exceeding0.1g section for 6 consecutive times was judged,and the exceeding section was recorded as a suspected shaking section.The vibration dominant frequency and energy factor of the suspected shaking section were calculated.If both meet the requirements,it is determined that the low frequency periodic vehicle shaking occurs when the EMU passes through the section.The field measurement shows that this method can effectively capture low frequency periodic vehicle shaking.
