全国铁路统计部门坚持融入中心、服务大局的宗旨,坚持开拓进取,不断创新完善统计制度方法,坚持以提高统计质量为核心,着力提升统计服务水平,取得了显著成绩。进一步做好铁路统计各项工作,为和谐铁路建设提供高效优质的统计服务,要求统计部门进一步增强做好铁路统计工作的紧迫感、责任感和使命感。面对新形势、新变化、新任务,铁路统计工作要重点抓好7项工作:切实加强对统计工作的领导;进一步加强统计基础建设;加快推进统计制度和方法创新;全力提供优质统计服务;积极推进统计法制建设;努力提高合资和地方铁路统计工作水平;认真贯彻落实国家统计工作的有关要求。

Vigorously Improve the Statistic Service to Serve the Harmonious Railways Construction and Open up A New Age for Railway Statistic Work

The railway departments of statistics nationwide have been adhering to improvement of statistic quality and making eye-catching achievements in railway statistic work. In view of the objective to better perform railway statistic work and provide high-level statistic service, railway statistic work shall lay emphasis on the following seven aspects: intensify the leadership and guidance on statistic work; further enhance construction of basis for statistic work; promote the innova- tion in statistic systems and approaches; be fully committed to providing high-level statistic service; push forward the legis- lation for statistic work; spare no effort to improve statistic work in joint-venture and local railways, seriously implement the relevant national demands on railway statistic work.
