| Abstract: | This paper introduced the development status of automatic fare collection (AFC) system in Suzhou rail transit, analyzed the development trend and development ideas of the system, introduced the emerging information based technologies related to AFC system, and analyzed the applicability of related technologies. These relevant technologies were applied to Suzhou rail transit AFC system to implement the functions of speech recognition, digital RMB use, intelligent customer service and so on. The application of information based technologies promotes the intelligent level of AFC system, improves the passenger service quality and reduces the operation cost. |
