Risk Evaluation and Insurance of Metro Projects

On the basis of extensive investigations and from the viewpoint of engineering insurance,the basic methods of risk analysis for metro projects are introduced and the key technical points in determining the risk resources and risk classes are described qualitatively and quantitatively for the purpose of providing the basis for engineering risk evaluation and insurance.Relevant problems to be noticed and solved in adopting the insurance to transfer the risk are pointed out.Activities in this realm constitute an inter disciplinary subject,involving the insurance industry and engineering.It has not been reported yet elsewhere how to utilize the insurance to transfer the risk.Conclusions of the paper present the basic ideas and requirements for the analysis and evaluation of metro engineering insurance.
