Abstract:In view of the phase 1 planning and design of Chengdu metro Line 1,measures were adopted including integrated city/metro planning,optimized station building layout and low energy consumption to realize a highly cost-effective metro project.New technical measures for saving energy and reducing costs for electro-mechanical equipment system in the project,together with the social and economic efficiency acquired,are also elaborated.
