| Abstract: | This paper reviews the application history of linear motors used in rail transit systems in the world and analyzes the characteristics of several typical linear motors used in rail transit systems. The rail transit systems with linear motors in Canada, Japan, the United States, Germany and Korea etc. are also introduced. |
