Using PDA to assist total station in doing route measurement and construction layout can significantly increase working efficiency.The measuring program in PDA developed from VB.NET,which is characterized as high visualization,fast computing speed,simple operator and similar usage as computer.At the same time,because of large memory capacity of PDA,it can be directly use to record the data,which decrease the workload of internal operation and get rid of the deficiency of traditional method such as PC-E500 and Casio-fx4800.The article also introduces the process and method of designing this program.
