When constructing highways in stone-riched mountainous areas,mixed earth and stone is often used in embankment.This article tries to articulate some important questions relating to highway construction from the following elements: the choice of aggregation plant,the control of earth and stone depth,rolling control,water content control,rolling times,roller tonnage,strict checking,analyses the cause of earth and stone subgrade disease,and recommends corresponding solution.
