Application of Low-pressure Blockage in Lin-Pu Crude-Oil Pipeline

Part of the Lin-Pu crude-oil pipeline was met with several third-party damages to the pipeline leak. For non-stop plugging under pressure and for improving the plugging efficiency, the low-pressure blockage was developed to remove leak val- ues. The low-pressure blockage fabricated method, the structure of the apparatus and the key technical steps of the non-stop plug-ging technology were elaborated. The application of low-pressure blockage has reduced working hours by 10% to 62. 5%, and de-creased the number of people in construction to one person in the products and crude oil pipeline maintenance. And there was no oil running and leak phenomenon, which protected environment around the pipeline.
