| Abstract: | Based on the construction projects on Beijing-Kunming Highway near Shijiazhuang, this paper proposed a safety evaluation method for highways passing through towns and villages using the speed analysis method. The safety evaluation method was employed to analyze basic roadway segments and bridge segments. Safety improvement measures were identified and could serve as a guidance to roadway design and traffic operations. |
