Analysis on Resilience Defects of Automotive Sheet Covering

During the forming of the automotive sheet metal coverings,the different blemishes occurred on their surfaces,such as bumps and pits,should be considered as a shifting phenomenon out of the surface caused by elastic recovery.That is to say,the elastic recovery of sheet metal leads to different forms of deviating from the designed surface level 1 .The various elastic resilience defects are analyzed from the aspects of geometry and mechanics and are classified aswell so that the basic data could be provided to restrain such kinds of defects.
