Influence of Cement Quality Differences on Concrete Strength and Durability

Focusing on the problems resulting from the inadequate control of the cement quality stipulated in the currents standards, the authors analyze the cement parameters stipulated in the standards and compare the influences of cements with different stabilities by utilizing some simple statistical data. The authors also propose some methods and countermeasures to control the stability of the cement quality. The authors emphasize the importance of the stability of cement and other concrete raw materials on the concrete quality. The authors suggest that the stability indexes should be included in the raw material testing.
