Abstract:The paper introduces the design and execution of the ventilation scheme applied in the construction of Datai vertical shaft of Wushaoling tunnel, which is located on the section from Lanzhou to Wuwei on Lanzhou-Xinjiang railway. Emphasis is placed on the difficulties, problems encountered and countermeasures taken during the construction ventilation of deep vertical shafts in high and cold zone.
