Construction Project Optimization of Yulingguan Tunnel in Hangyu Expressway

The paper summarizes the design and construction of Yulingguan tunnel on Hangyu expressway. On basis of the design principles of NATM applied for highway tunnels and the construction sequences and fundamental policies of NATM, as well as the featureds of the design and construction of the tunnel, the designed reinforcement parameters and construction schemes of yulingguan tunnel are timely adjusted in accordame with the stability of the rock mass and the resuits of monitoring and measurement, which guarantees the quality and safety of the tunnel construction and achieves excellent results in respect of faster construction progress and lower investment.
