Analysis on the Promotion and Application of ETC in Inner Mongolia Expressway

As toll roads are networked in each province, ETC came into being. In the process of canceling the highway provincial boundary toll stations in the country, the proportion of ETC users has become a key indicator of the success or failure of this reform. This paper analyzes the development history of ETC in China and Inner Mongolia, and interprets it from various perspectives.The purpose is to clarify the logical sequential and de facto dependency relationship between the cancellation of provincial border stations and the promotion of ETC. And the application of ETC in Inner Mongolia is discussed. With cloud computing, big data, edge computing, and AI spreading rapidly and efficiently, the future of this network should be the industrial internet.
