Application of Traffic Image in ITS

This paper introduced some contents about the traffic image,including the way of getting the traffic image,the way of distilling the parameters of traffic image,the form and the mode of compressing the images.Furthermore,after discussing the application of traffic image in ITS,such as detecting and recognizing of license plate,the detecting technology of rushing red light and over-speed,and the system of recognizing the road,this paper also proposed some problems in dealing with the traffic images.
