Application and Structural Design of Continuous Truss Bridge in Pipeline River-crossing Project

Based on the engineering background of a pipeline river-crossing project of a factory in Wuhu, the bridge types of pipeline across the river are analyzed and compared. The overall structure is calculated and analyzed by the establishment of a spatial model. The applicability and design essentials of continuous truss bridge are demonstrated. This type of bridge has the remarkable applicability and economy with the novel layout and reasonable stress, which can provide references for the similar projects.
