Study on Coordination Development of Urban Rail Transit and Conventional Bus Transit

The paper proceeds with the comparison of characteristics between the rail transit and conventional bus transit to explain the necessity of the coordination development for the both, discusses the determining method of the proportion of the linking up and interchange of the rail transit with the other transits and the principle of coordinating planning for the rail transit and the conventional bus transit,and focuses analysis on three key factors,i.e.bus transit lines,substations and interchange layout in the optimization of bus transit line based on the rail transit.
