| Abstract: | In order to consider the inspection and maintenance for the deck-pavement of highway bridge structure systems, an approach for finding the reliability of the structural system over the lifetime is introduced using Markov processes to model the evolution of resistance, and the concepts and approaches introduced are applied to an example. |
