Injection Molding Process Optimization of Vehicle Head Lamp Chimney Shell

Vehicle head lamp chimney shell is made from the material of PC (polycarbonate). In order to overcome defects in the molding of head lamp chimney shell, the paper optimizes the settings of injection molding technology, analyzes the setting of selecting material, equipment and process parameters as well as puts forward some unique ideas for the application of improvement of drying machine and three sets of mould temperature control machines. The detailed calculation of injection position and better control of the forming process help solve the defects during the forming of chimney shells. It is verified that reasonable setting of technology parameters could avoid product defects and guarantee quality and feasibility.
