Abstract:According to the overall deployment of project renovation,more than an existing overpass bridge on the trunk of Xianyue Road do not meet the elevation programming of geometry made for the viaducts on the whole line,necessitating renovation.With the interchange over the intersection of Lianyue Road,a(2×35+45+2×35) m equal-depth continuous steel box beam bridge,as background and on the basis of the comparison and analysis of the alignment difference of the bridge before and after the renovation,the optimum adjustment and retrofit scheme is worked out and the rational sequence of support conversion is determined by calculation.That is,firstly,to remove 9 short segments from 6 piers and the mid spans of the central 3 spans of the bridge and to divide the whole superstructure into 8 beam segments;then,to adopt synchronous jack-up technique to erect the segments divided into place without the block of traffic under the bridge;finally,to lower the main beam that has been welded into a whole to the heightened piers.The geometry adjustment and renovation of the bridges are smoothly achieved.
