| Abstract: | This paper summarizes the current status and development of the research on spray impinging wall in DI diesel engine. The model and characteristics of spray wall interaction, the effect of wall temperature on spray impinging and the forming and flowing of wall film have been discussed in detail. A new designing concept of combustion system is introduced, and the direction for further study is pointed out. |
