Abstract:Monitoring system with network can be adopted for acquiring easily the remote data, which becomes a new trend. A monitoring system centered based on the ARM and FPGA technology with high efficiency and low cost Ethernet access is provided for the practical application. For the acquisition system, the FPGA IC is firstly applied to deal with digital data and the ARM IC is used to access the Ethernet function. TCP protocol of LwIP protocol stack in the no RTOS is put forward in the monitoring system. And it achieved the remote temperatures both of electrodes and cases of the thyristors centered on 5STP52U5200 produced by ABB. Theory and experiment indicate that the feasibility of the remote monitoring and controlling system.
