| Abstract: | The planned maintenance system of ships machinery, a new kind of marine engineering managing mode, is being extended in China. This paper introduces the types and its main functions, and clarifies the relation between the mantenance system and PMS survey as well as the important significance in the application for carrying out PMS survey. |
