Analysis on the difficult legal issues concerning handling and investigation of the vessel involved in a hit-and-run case

This paper, through investigating a hit-and-run case in which the responsible vessel escaped after collision and the victim fishing vessel sank, analyses the characteristics and reason of hit-and-run cases, provides some suggestions on investigation of such cases, with a view to enhancing the handling and investigation of the hit-and-run incidents.
