| Abstract: | The Regulations for Seafarers of the People's Republic of China, which entered into force on 1 September 2007, are the first administrative regulations especially concerning seafarers' management. This paper explains the background and the main contents of the above-mentioned Regulations. Finally, it also provides some views on the implications of the implementation of the Regulations in the maritime administrative sector. |
