| Abstract: | Both the Datachief C20 monitoring alarm and control system based on Controller Area Network(CAN) represent the advanced level of monitoring alarm and control technology for marine engine room.This paper introduces the principle and characteristics of CAN,then discuss the configuration and plentiful functions of Datachief C20 system,and summarize the particular advantages of the system.Finally it points out that the Datachief C20 system wills has good prospects in marine automation. |
