| Abstract: | In accordance with the main topics of VTS2000 SYMPOSIUM, the ninth international symposium of the vessel traffic system (VTS), the current development, the future vision and the automatic identification system (AIS) used in the VTS are described in this paper. Some comments on the symposium and suggestions on the China's VTS are also presented. |
