| Abstract: | The necessity and possibility of application of the pulse Doppler radar to the vessel traffic system (VTS) have been explained in this paper by analyzing the limitations of the non coherent single carrier frequency radars used commonly in the present VTS and excellent features of the pulse Doppler radars. |
