| Abstract: | The influence of shallow water upon the performance of ship is discussed in light of experimental results of model test,especially to the effects of inner boundary.According to the experimental research of a catamaran,a technical proposal is brought up to improve the performance of ship in shallow water by installing a hydrofoil at stern. |
