Research on FEM Mesh Generation for the Hatch Corner of Ship |

| Abstract: | An automatic FEM mesh refining algorithms for the hatch corner is presented, by which the sparse mesh and refined mesh can transit smoothly with transition element, several kings of filleted corners and holes can be created automatically according to the criterion of CCS, and the specified bar elements can be replaced by shell elements. The result shows the method can achieve the refined FE analysis perfectly needed by check of the strength and fatigue, resolve thee fussy and non-system work by hand. |
