| Abstract: | Facing the large differential settlement observed at the bridge head on high class road, this paper presents the mechanism and construction methods of geosynthetic material. Experience of Nanping section phase 1 of Fuying expressway is summarized. It also presents the new technology to prevent large differential settlement at bridge head. |
